Studio Member Talia Suskauer has been cast in the role of "Elphaba" in the Broadway Musical "Wicked" on Broadway. Brava Talia!
Elphaba is one of the most sought after roles on Broadway.
I am so proud of Talia. She is so deserving of her success. She is talented, disciplined and she understands the importance of hard work and technique. When Talia was a young teenager we would work on the role of Elphaba and I told her then that she would one day play the role of "Elphaba" on Broadway. Kudos to you Talia!
Talia made her Off Broadway debut in the musical "Be More Chill". "Be More Chill" then moved on to Broadway and Talia made her Broadway debut. After "Be More Chill" Talia was cast in the role of "Elphaba" with the Broadway National Tour of "Wicked". After several years of touring with "Wicked" she is back on Broadway playing the Iconic role of "Elphaba".
Several weeks ago Talia came by the studio to tell me in person that she was going to be "Elphaba" in the Broadway production. Wow! I was overwhelmed with joy for her and felt such gratitude that she would share her good news with me in person before she left for New York City. I had to keep it secret until it was publically announced. That was difficult, no doubt. Now the world knows that Talia Suskauer is "Elphaba" on Broadway. I must add that I saw Talia as "Elphaba" in the Broadway National Tour of "Wicked" and she was brilliant. The best!
Everyone in the studio is so thrilled and happy for you. You are an inspiration to us all.
I am so excited for you Talia and honored to be part of your wonderful journey.
Brava Diva! 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
Much Love!
